We are so proud of the team of teachers we have formed over the past few years.

Each of them bring special talents & passions to share with the B’s Preschool community!

Ms. Bridget loves to garden, sometimes with the children – and often on evenings and weekends.

– Ms. Bridget –

I love teaching and feel that the preschool years are a particularly precious and important time

for building a healthy foundation for children.

My mission is to provide a safe, nurturing home environment

for children to begin their educational journey.

A few facts about Ms. Bridget:

* Owner, Director, Lead Teacher, Visionary, and “Queen Bee” of B’s Preschool & Annex
* Certified Early Childhood/Elementary Teacher in Oregon
* Master of Arts in Teaching; Early Childhood Education Endorsement from Lewis & Clark College.
* Continuing Education through Multnomah County CCR&R including the Mind in the Making and Building Blocks of Emotional and Social Development series
* Certified in Infant/Child First Aid and CPR
* Participant in Yoga Calm classes and workshop
* Attended Waldorf Teacher foundation classes at the Michael Institute
* Many years of experience as a childcare provider, mother and teacher in a variety of settings
* Substitute teacher for Portland Village School in 2009-10 and 2010-11 school years (grades K-7)
* Former parent of Cedarwood Waldorf School Community and Portland Village School Community

I love working with children in imaginative and outdoor play, because they learn so much!
A few facts about Ms. Jackie:
* Full Time Teacher and Assistant at B’s Preschool
*Has taken Early Childhood Education classes at Western Oregon University
*Working on Finishing Bachelors in Early Childhood Education at Ashworth College
*Has worked with children for over 6 years.
* Continuing Education through Multnomah County CCR&R
* Certified in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid

I love working with children because they are so creative, loving and present!

I especially enjoy the mix of toddlers and preschoolers at B’s Preschool!

A few facts about Ms. Irene: 

* Part-time Assistant Teacher at B’s Preschool Annex
* Continuing Education through Multnomah County CCR&R
* Certified in Infant/Child First Aid and CPR
* Teaching preschool age for over seven years
* Has taken Early Childhood Ed classes at The Urban College of Boston
* Has also earned professional teaching certificates in Massachusetts, where she’s from.
* Studies English Literature and Writing with a concentration in creative writing at Marylhurst University.

– Ms. Ariana –

 Nothing brings me more joy than the wisdom and love that comes from children.

Their outlook on the world is so authentic and unique, I find it so rewarding (and contagious) to be around.

I take pride in viewing a situation from the child’s perspective as well as giving them lots of love!

A few facts about Ms. Ariana:

* Co-Director and Full-time Lead Teacher at B’s Preschool Annex
* Early Education Classes through Clackamas and Mt. Hood Community Colleges
* Continuing Education through Multnomah County CCR&R including the Mind in the Making and Building Blocks of Emotional and Social Development series.
* Certified in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid
* Has taught all types of dance to children ages 2 – 8 for three years
* Caring for and babysitting children her entire life
* Plays the guitar and sings, the children are her favorite audience

– Ms. Kate –

I love working with children because they are always exploring new things and learning from the world around them.

I love being able to see the world through their eyes and being able to share in their endless curiosity.

A few facts about Ms. Kate: 

* Part Time Assistant Teacher at B’s Preschool & North
* Continuing Education through Multnomah County CCR&R
* Certified in Infant/Child First Aid and CPR
* Experience working with young children
* BA in Applied Linguistics from Portland State
* Passion for maintaining a safe environment for children

The children love Mr. Eric, soooo much!

– Mr. Eric-

My favorite thing about working with children is seeing their personalities emerge.
Their imagination is inspiring and nothing beats witnessing that ‘aha’ moment when they learn something new.
I personally love moments and opportunities to teach children the concepts of empathy and community.

* Part-time Substitute Teacher and Assistant at B’s Preschool
* Has worked with children for over 7 years as a preschool teacher and creating creative family curriculum
* Early Education Classes and a CDA (Child Development Associate)
* Continuing Education through Multnomah County CCR&R
* Certified in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid
* Co-directs a local mental health non-profit
* Loves the power of story; whether it’s reading a book, telling a personal story, or making one up on the spot it is the best way to engage the imagination.
