BACK TO SCHOOL
After a long fun summer it can take some serious COURAGE to face the changing of the seasons! Back to school time is always an exciting time, but it can feel a bit overwhelming for children who are starting for the first time or have some kind of change going on (ex. a sibling moving onto Kindergarten) or that were just used to be home for a few weeks! That is why we love to start the school year off with the virtue of COURAGE! Each day at circle time we are talking about what it means to have courage and giving story examples of what it looks like. Continue this conversation at home when your child is feeling afraid to go somewhere new or not so sure about trying that brussel sprout on their dinner plate! They are also learning it by this definition if you want to say what the word means along with them…
