B’s Preschool Community

B’s preschool stands for LOVE, for each other, for the earth, and every being/thing that inhabits it.

We believe in acknowledging our feelings and expressing our needs. We believe in finding a better feeling thought and moving on with our day after the wave of sorrow/anger passes.

We believe in knowing that our positive thoughts and words effect our health and well being.

We believe in shining our lights and spreading that light in the world. We learn about how we can shine our light bright – and the things that dim our light.

We learn to communicate with our peers, parents and teachers.

We learn to play with others, communicate and take turns.

We notice changes in the gardens and environment with the days, months and seasons of the year.

We are accountable for our mistakes and we talk with our friends and try to make it right.

We wash our hands many times during the day – after we potty, any transition to food, after touching our face or something gross… we have hand washing sink outdoors to enable extra washing.

We value Communication between parents, Ms. Bridget and the other teachers, that is clear, open and authentic. Families share changes in their lives so that we can more fully support your children. Big feelings come out about little things – if there is context we are able to read relevant books with the group and have a supportive circle time with our peers who understand big feelings about big things and little things.

______________________________________________________________________________**We are aware that we don’t always know where germs come from and can’t control everything.

If someone gets sick, it’s likely we won’t know where the exposure came from.

We know that all of us are doing our best to stay healthy and well.

We are in this together!  ❤🐝
